Wedding photography by Kelly Garni prices, proof book information

Any black and white prints that you order can have one or more effects applied.  These, as with all our black and white prints, are done by hand, not in the computer (and retain the longevity and values of true black and whites).

These effects include: sepia toning, vignetting, and hand-painting.

Sepia Toning

Sepia toning is a process that gives the black and white a brownish hue.  It is a very classic, soft look.

Vignetting

A vignette is simply the fading off of the picture as it reaches the edges.  It is a very soft, dreamy effect.  It can also be used to focus the attention on the center of the image and lessen a busy background.

Hand-painting

Hand-painting is down by Kelly with oil-based paints made specifically for painting on photographs.  This is often used on the bride's bouquet or flower petals in the aisle. Notice, this image has also been vignetted.
