The Bridal Model Photoshoot is generally done after the wedding, but may be done beforehand.  Pictures are done in studio and on location.  Usually the bride schedules this before she has her dress cleaned as it will likely get dirty.  Some brides have their hair and make-up done like it was at the wedding, others do it themselves.  Some brides have even had a new bouquet made, but this is not necessary.
